What is art? Firstly, what kind of question is that (other than being a 'view point')? If one ever concerns themselves with the notion that humanity has travelled many leagues, then one only needs to review the various answers to this query (or indulge the latest news report) and see we have not merely stumbled around the bedarkened and closed off privy, looking for a light or doorway, but that as civiliation but we have masterfully sat ourselves, fully clothed inside the cistern of our own stupidity and abhorrances.
What will art become in this system of things? Neither You nor I should want to know.
