Sense the greatness

Some days you feel like you've really gotten somewhere.

I've had a whole week of those days.

It's alot to do with achieving goals, and I'm not really talking about the "hectic life-consuming variety" ie, that 15 year old Aussie girl thats solo-sailing around the world? I haven't heard about her on the news in weeks, I'm wondering if she hasn't given it all up?! See, striving for too much in one piece. Thats what it is. No the way to go about your goals is a little more formulised (is that a word?). It's just too tough reaching out for the highest attainable desire -regardless of how bad you want it right now: You want to lock in on goals not quite so grand as "man the first recreational flight in space", but certainly a whole lot more impacting then, "wake up, eat, feed dog and wash clothes" (which in fairness is still on my to-do list for tomorrow).

I've got some activity happening tomorrow with a little window cleaning work that I'm looking forward too and I'll be getting a new window screen for my treasured Barina (Opel) - there is a rather impressive crack creeping across from the passangers side to my driving side and I'm not at liberty to allow it to run free any longer! I expect to achieve these goals tomorrow so already I'm instore for some 'goal-getting goodness'. Plus Dr Pepper may be involved at some point too...

The key to developing some success with goals is creating the momentum: start with some real basic achievable goals (chew your mouthfuls of food at least 14 times), move onto one or two later that require just that little more effort (pass the ball a few more times instead of taking every shot you ball hog?!) and before you know it you will be ready to really get cracking into some big time goals (okay sailor girl, lets see you get around the world.... in a bath tub!?).

Keeping this process in mind will help you attain that standard of success and of greatness.

My first momentum infusing goal (and step to greatness no doubt) for now, is to end this post.

Success!
Greatness!
